#1 I am sorry that we didn't magically know that you wanted to leave with us rather than Tim even though you came in Tim's car. Next time I will try to do a better job of reading your mind. #2 I'm sorry that you were too drunk to articulate the fact that you wanted to leave with us / make it down the hill after us. #3 I'm sorry that you make your friends look stupid when they stick up for you because you don't tell them the whole truth. oh college
My dad promised my sister that she can have my room when I go to college. So today at dinner, I told her that a dead old woman lives under my bed and crawls up to sleep next to me every night. And I said that the woman only has one arm and sometimes she bleeds on me. My sister doesn't want my room anymore. haha. Current Mood: accomplished | | Monday, December 25th, 2006 | | 1:36 pm |
oh santa
So every year my brother, sister, and I write a letter to Santa to leave with his milk and cookies. I thought this year's was particularly entertaining, and I'm sure there's a few of you who will appreciate it... Dear Santa Claus, Hello! I hope you're not too tired from your journey. If you have to go potty you are welcome to use our bathroom. If you are tired, eat Max's cookie (the tree with a lot of frosting), it will give you an instant sugar-rush. Now for the questions. Where do you live? How do you know if someone is Jewish? Is Mrs. Claus hot? Is your house big? Do elves really work for you? Have you ever met Buddy the Elf? How do you get around the whole world in one night? Have you ever wet yourself on the job? Are the reindeer naughty or tame? Please write your response on the back of the paper. Wait! One more question: How do you feel about global warming? the war in Iraq? President Bush? haha sorry that was actually three... Love, Remeny, Ariel, and Max White SANTA'S RESPONSE: 1. North Pole 2. I check my list 3. You betcha 4. Very. Lots of elves, you know. 5. Yes - very hard 6. Buddy is an imposter 7. Planning, fast reindeer, time zones, and magic 8. I refuse to answer 9. Spirited, but tame 10. It burns me up... 11. That is an explosive issue 12. Who? He is NOT on my list! -SANTA Current Mood: jolly <3 | | Thursday, December 21st, 2006 | | 2:49 am |
Sometimes I wish I could fast-forward through time.
This week is kicking my ass. A few thank-yous to those who made it happen: 1. To Mrs. Shires, my favorite space cadet, for instilling in me a deep and passionate love of Hamlet. From thrilling moments in the little theater to the sense of accomplishment I draw from the incredibly witty 'tabled' website...this has been a week of Shakespearean wonders. 2. To Mr. Shotwell and his impractical notions (lets have permission slips for the holiday party, lets organize thousands of old activity proposals into a binder for no apparent reason) 3. To AP Gov, for giving me the incredible opportunity to stay up until 3 writing a holiday song. Clearly, it was time well spent. 4. To the Burbank soccer team - here at SPHS, we happen to love concussions, elbows in the stomach, and getting knocked on our asses. ALRIGHT and now for a non bitter/sarcastic thank-you: 5. To Grace, Noah, and Scott for braving the one-way streets of downtown LA in order to film the WF site video under the strict supervision of Jose. <3 see you in five hours, friends. CHRISTMAS and other C words
So today we decorated our Christmas tree and something about spending an hour carefully arranging the plastic apple and santa ornaments made me realize that CHRISTMAS IS REALLY ALMOST HERE. I mean, I knew that it was coming up, but it just didn't seem real to me until this morning. And I got super excited...I love always having a fire crackling (well not really crackling because we don't burn wood haha) and having my house smell like pine and scouring the mall for the perfect gift and having holiday parties and secret santas at school. AH I am so ready for the holidays. PS What do you want for Christmas / winter? On an entirely separate note... the White family on college: Max - Ariel: So what do you want for Christmas? Max: Ummm....when are you going to college? Remeny - Ariel, you should be home-colleged. I'll be your teacher. (Good plan.) Mommy - When you go to college, I'm going to surprise you and be your roommate! Wouldn't that be fun? (NO) Daddy - So... are you applying to college or something? (yes, dad.) mmmmmmmmm
So tonight at dinner, we talked about the literal definition of the word 'shank' (apparently it has to do with getting killed in prison with some crude weapon like a sharpened fork) and my brother thought of a brilliant movie idea called "Fido the Amazing Vacuum Dog" in which you take some footage of a dog taking a shit and play it backwards so it looks like it's sucking the poo back up its butt. And i accidentally laughed salsa up my nose. I love my family. Current Mood: content | | Wednesday, November 1st, 2006 | | 2:07 am |

........
My parents are so insanely unfair that I can't even begin to express it with words. Seriously, some of the things that my mom says are so rediculus that I want to laugh, but I don't because I know that it will only make her even more mad. But it is the most frusterating thing in the world to try to explain to my parents that what they are saying MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. I don't understand. I feel like they are completely ignoring the things that I say because they take my logic and twist it around and then give me some response that is totally irrelevant...and then they continue to think that they are prefectly right about everything. Sometimes I really think that I should stop being responsible, stop trying to do well in school, stop stressing about college apps because my parents already treat me as if i do none of those things. I might as well act the way that I am treated. Life would be easier, and at least I wouldn't have to have this tremendous feeling of injustice when I get yelled at. I can't wait until college. SHKLDSFHuwhekurhakshfkuHSDiuUIRFe I hope you guys are having fun at the beach. I'm sorry I couldn't be there. PREPARE TO PEE YOURSELF (Arash) Hello loves! Well I'm back in the SP and so i thought it was time to do the mandatory massive picture post from my trip... Harvard was SUCH an incredible experience that I won't degrade it by trying to put its impact on me into words, but just know that the people you are about to see are some of the most amazing people on the PLANET. I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend a month.
Lets hang out, SPers. <3 Current Mood: nostalgicCurrent Music: Where'd You Go? - Fort Minor | | 11:43 pm |

i should be writing my paper right now but instead...
I feel like i haven't posted in a while, but there's really not that much to say. Every Mon - Thurs I go to class at 9:30, eat lunch, chill in my dorm / do homework, go to dinner, act crazy and loud intil 3 in the morning, and then stumble down to my room or fall asleep in whoever's room i'm in. Its pretty sweet. On weekends I venture into Cambridge / Boston and go exploring. Last night Carolyn and I found a pizza shop thats open at 1 in the morning - and the slices were seriously the size of my head. It was pretty fantastic. Also, I'm pretty excited because I'm learning a lot of new vocab from around the nation....like "fuckers you gotta dip" means "LEAVE" in Michegan (sp?) and in N.Carolina "rank" = "cool/awesome" and in Philly they say "large and in charge" a lot.... Well sorry that wasn't very interesting - my life right now is pretty boring in an amazingly fun kind of way. I MISS YOU ALL and thanks for your letters <3 (i just got some new ones a few minutes ago) <3 Ariel Current Mood: exhausted | | Monday, July 3rd, 2006 | | 12:14 pm |
